I just applied to a mentorship program. There are only six available mentors, so I have a strong possibility of not being chosen (and honestly not sure if any of them are a good fit). But I’m rolling the dice and letting fate decide.
I think you are a great example of a mentor. Not only do you understand who the person is, you understand what their potential is. You encourage growth and possibility but never push rather suggest. It falls to the individual to run with it. And that's when growth can occur. I have grown tremendously under you. And in taking larger steps on my own, I know, that you will always be there if I have any questions or insecurities. It is the most giving thing a mentor can do. And in return, I don't bug the crap out of you 24/7 about it! I respect that you actually do have a life as well. I understand that you believe enough in me to know I can do this. But, I do know, that you'll always be there for me if I need you :)
