We were in high energy mode for today’s episode, in spite of something missing. If you can guess what it is, tell us in the comments. Chupacabra made a surprise appearance and we solved some of life’s mysteries, among them why Angela can’t pronounce so many words correctly, and opened new mysteries, like trying to remember which issue of Space & Time LeVar Burton once featured on Reading Rainbow. Angela also shared her experiences from [merge.] Literary Festival, last week’s Speculative Missed CONnection.
Then we discussed two poems and two stories from this month’s issue. This week it was “The Ogre” by Kathryn Ptacek, “Pickleblood’s Saga” by Kris Schokrowsky, “Unfiltered” by Brian U. Garrison, and “Enterprise One” by Callum Borthwick.
Next week we will be sharing two more stories and two more poems from the just released August issue No. 153, namely “I never will write a poem” by M. Frost, “A Better Tongue” by Domenico Attianese, “words as weaponry” by Cailín Frankland, and “Working as Intended” by T. H. Mercer.
That’s all for Episode 18. We will be back next Monday at 2:30 pm EST. Until then, thank you for Reading Space & Time.
