Authortunities #24 for September 3-30
My creative excuses ➕ another all free Authortunities ➕ free digital Spring 2002 vintage issue #87 〓 Read in 50 US states and 36 countries!

Can I please blame a stressful week of moving in plus visa stuff for another shorter Authortunities? I also should admit that when I sat down tonight to diligently work on this calendar for the week I wound up making an experimental poetry video instead. Sounds like something one of those weird creatives would do… guilty. I have a long list of catch up from the move and it will all get done Monday.
I do have some news: I’m over on Bluesky now if anyone wants to find me there. I was reluctant to join another social platform but it’s actually pretty peaceful. If you are on Bluesky, you can find me at @angelayurikosmith.bsky.social.
Just because I slacked off this evening doesn’t mean I will renege on my goal to share a free digital vintage issue of Space and Time magazine. This issue features work by Mary Soon Lee! 🚀
Download #87 from Summer 1997 here: https://tinyurl.com/3yncr492
If you want to try and collect them all, I made a handy chart you can download for free here: https://tinyurl.com/5aw46utf I’ve given away six issues so far out of 144.
And just in case you wondered what kooky artistic thing I got caught up with tonight instead of chonking out this newsletter… here you go. It was created using a dice roll up method to make a seed poem on last Saturday’s EYW show… if you’re curious, that show is here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvXgbGTiCRM]
In this entire calendar share you will find:

12 reprint markets ♻️
