Space and Time #147 and HWA Poetry Showcase XI available now!
Authortunities #84 │October 19—November 16
It’s been a busy week wrapping up two massive ToCs at the same time… and I survived. Save your sanity and don’t do as I did. A big shout out to the S&T Team for working with all sorts of challenges, including Hurricane Milton. Now that #147 is out, we are already working on the next issue to be released in April 2025.
🌳What’s in this issue?
Space and Time Fall/Winter #147 is now available! A massive double issue with over 50 human created poems, stories, fiction and non-fiction! Thank you to the incredible S&T Team for all your hard work! Get your copy here.
The HWA Poetry Showcase XI, edited by Maxwell I. Gold is also now available! Congratulations to everyone who made this year’s Showcase. Get your copy here.
The Authors Guild is to offer a “Human Authored” label on books! I love this proactive approach. AI 'detectors’ (which are powered by AI) have failed to be 100% accurate and re-enforce bias against minorities. Because of this, many universities are advising against the usage of so-called AI detectors. I applaud the Author’s Guild for their positive approach to this emotionally charged issue. Read more details here.
I tend to lurk and work at Twitch.tv/Aussiemanplays Saturday-Tuesday for fun and connection. Come hang out and chat.
The Authortunities Expo on November 2… Seeking Craft, Credibility, Fortune and Fame? You can have it all… just not all at the same time. This free, virtual conference maps out how to define and find your next publishing quest. The event ends with the first ever Linzner Awards from Space and Time Magazine. Explore the Neighborhub while you wait at authortunitieshub.com.
Tomorrow! Once again I’m supporting a Daniel David Wallace summit. Free to watch live, or get the pass. Five days of author learning from the Escape the Plot Forest summit.
